Short answers in five languages, from the same fact pack that Ask GodGom uses (as of 2026-10-09).
English
Free public Wi-Fi is common at airports, subway and train stations, and on Seoul city buses. In Seoul, pick SEOUL_Secure and log in with ID and password both “seoul”, lowercase (details may change). For data everywhere, airport stores sell prepaid SIMs for 1 to 90 days, and eSIMs install by QR code. If you’re in a café, ask “와이파이 비밀번호가 뭐예요?” (waipai bimilbeonhoga mwoyeyo?), “What’s the Wi-Fi password?”
